Tender description

BIM, the Irish Sea Fisheries Board, is the state agency set up to promote the sustainable development of the Seafood Industry. BIM’s mission is to grow a thriving Irish seafood industry, expand the raw material base, add value and develop efficient supply chains that together deliver on the Government’s Food Harvest 2020 targets for seafood and create sustainable jobs. BIM employs approx. 120 personnel across its geographic base, with offices in Dun Laoghaire, Clonakilty, Castletownbere, Galway, Killybegs and Greencastle. BIM’s Training Colleges are based in both Castletownbere and Greencastle. BIM’s Seafood Development Centre (”SDC”) is based in Clonakilty, Co. Cork where it supports development and innovation in Irish seafood for both the domestic and international markets. BIM’s support for the Irish seafood sector is provided through its three customer facing division of Fisheries/Training, Aquaculture and Business Development & Innovation. Tenders are invited to provide the service of Porter/Concierge for at their premises on Crofton Road Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin. The successful tenderer will be required to demonstrate the delivery of a reliable and high quality Porter/Concierge service tailored to BIM’s requirements. The successful tenderer will hold an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard, provide desk reception cover during normal hours of business and have procedures in place for out of hour’s emergency response and key holding service.
