Opera Holland Park Temporary Structures public tender advertisement Invitation to Tender – February 2015 The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of temporary structures at Opera Holland Park situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Council (RBKC), as the Contacting Authority, intends to carry out an Open Procedure to award the contract to One Provider on behalf of the following Participating Council owned venue: • Opera Holland Park One provider will be appointed for the 2015 Opera season commencing in April 2015 and ending August 2015. Tenderers must be rated as not higher than average risk of financial failure. The providers appointed to the Approved List will provide temporary structures to Opera Holland Park for the 2015 Opera season. The Council is seeking to meet the following objectives: • Hire, installation and removal of ancillary front of house and back of house temporary structures. • Provide a high standard of temporary structure with particular regard to hard walling systems, glazed panelling, doors, lining, handrails and decking. • Work in a manner that is sympathetic to the park and local environs. Under the proposed contract temporary structures will be supplied to the Council under hire arrangements and therefore tenderers must include their hire terms in their submission and these must be compatible with the terms in the proposed contract.
