Supply of static cold storage perfusion fluid solution

Tender description

NHS Blood and Transplant (the Authority) is the commissioner responsible for providing funding, infrastructure, clinical guidance and standards to the National Organ Retrieval Service (NORS). NORS is comprised of several organ retrieval teams (Teams) based at a range of transplant centers in England, Wales and Scotland. The Authority has a contract in place with each NORS team, for the provision of organ retrieval services. The Teams purchase their own consumables and are reimbursed each financial quarter by the Authority. The Tender for static cold storage solutions is being carried out by the Authority to establish framework agreement(s) against which the NORS Teams will call-off without applying any further competition. The Tender is for two lots: - Lot 1 for supply of cold static perfusion fluid UW type solution, where the Authority is looking to establish a framework agreement with one operator only; - Lot 2 for multi-supply framework agreement for supply of cold static perfusion fluid solution other than UW type, where the Authority is looking to establish framework agreements with several operators. Each Lot will be evaluated independently and The Authority reserves the right to award one of the Lots only. For more information please refer to the tender documentation.
