Spinal Unit Boiler Replacement

Tender description

The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre at SDH covers most of southern England with a population of approximately 11 million people. As part of ongoing modernisation works, the existing boiler and associated pipework requires replacement Extent of Works 1. Isolate and disconnect existing boiler, strip down electrically and mechanically, and remove from site. Retain burner for reuse. 2. Supply and install a new Viessmann Vitorond 200 380kw boiler complete with Weishaupt WGL40/1-A dual fuel burner. 3. Reconnect boiler to existing isolation points and flue, connect / adapt as required, fill and test. 4. Allow for specialist engineer to commission the burner and provide data to the supervising officer. The Procurement process is being conducted via the Trust’s Ariba procurement portal. The Trust will then register the bidder on the Ariba portal, and the bidder will automatically receive an Ariba event invite key.
