The effect of the Governments pensions and annuities proposals, and the lack of data anticipating how consumers will respond, has created an environment in which financial services lack the requisite data to make accurate predictions. An Annuities tracker is required to measure consumers’ response to provide companies with significant insight into how consumers intend to act, whether those intentions are subsequently correlative with actions, and what measures financial service companies need to enact to benefit from this new ‘competitive and dynamic retirement income market.
