Tender description

researchWork looking at the potential role of heritage in local strategic planning and development. the work will involve three strands: i. A strand that tests and refines the ideas that emerged in phase one of the HLF/RSA collaboration, concentrating on a small number of city regions. ii. Desk based research that explores the existing and potential ways of thinking about place, identity and heritage in a broader set of national and international places. iii. Action research to identify what kind of capacity is needed at the local level to make the case for the strategic role of heritage in place shaping. This strand will follow on from, and be contingent on the findings from, strands (i) and (ii).
