Children Missing from Home - Support Service - RFQ 1562298

Tender description

The main objective of this service will be to complete all return home interviews for those children, not known to Lancashire Children Social Care, who are reported as missing from home. The return interview will be to assess and establish; the reasons why the child or young person went missing, where and who the child or young person ran to, risks associated with the missing episode, safety to return home and child protection or safeguarding issues, on-going needs or package of support, early identification of child sexual exploitation or other risk taking behaviours such as anti-social behaviour, substance misuse and review the risk assessment document. The contract period is: 1 July 2015 - 31 March 2017 with the option to extend until 31 March 2018.
