Tender description

The broker - A J Gallagher went out for a number of police forces under the heading "Northern Police Consortium". 5 lots were tendered for for Lancashire under that consortium, these were Lot 1 Property, Lot 2 Liability, Lot 3 Motor (Inc Claims Handling), Lot 5 Fidelity Guarantee, and Lot 6 Personal, Accident and Travel. The initial total premium for all these lots was £739,426. This gives a total contract value of £3,697,331. However, Other insurance which includes Airside Liability, Engineering and Motor Uninsured Loss recovery were tendered separately via the same broker and for the same period in terms of contract end date. These are included on this BLPD entry for ease of use. Insurance - Motor - uninsured loss recovery is £5874 per annum based on £5.46 per vehicle (1015 vehicles = £5,541.90 plus 6% insurance premium tax =£5,874 x 5 = £29,270 over 5 years Insurance - Engineering is £38,477 over 5 years based on e-mail from Maureen Taylor on 21/01/16. Insurance - Airside Liability is £3,098 per annum for 5 years = £15,490 over 5 years. TOTAL CONTRACT VALUE IS £3,697,331 + £29,270 + £38,477 + £15,490 = £3,780,568.00 overall value
