NHS England South (Wessex) School Aged Immunisations Framework

Tender description

NHS England South (Wessex) is planning a procurement for a School Aged (4-19 yrs) Immunisation Framework across Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole; Southampton City; Portsmouth City; Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The Framework will be divided into geographical lots and providers will be asked to indicate which area they would wish to deliver a service. Providers who are accepted on to the framework will be subject to a further mini competition to determine which programmes will be delivered. All providers who have been accepted on to the National Childhood Flu Framework will be offered automatic entry on the NHS England South (Wessex) framework subject to registering for this procurement as outlined below. The immunisations identified below will be in scope, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Meningitis C, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Poliomyelitis (Td/IPV), Childhood influenza as per national schedule. It is expected that additional vaccines are likely to be added to the framework as they are introduced to the national schedule For the purpose of the Framework the immunisations will be divided into the following Lots: Lot A: HPV/TdIPV/MenC Lot B: Roll out of influenza as per national schedule Lot C: Catch up for other s7a vaccination programmes, Lot D: new programmes. In addition to the above Lots all providers will be expected to respond to Public Health vaccine related emergencies in relation to the s7a programmes. The service will be aimed at all children requiring immunisation who are: •registered with a school in the identified area(s) •registered with a GP within the area(s) •resident within the identified LA area(s) The Commissioner will be looking for innovative ways to ensure maximum uptake and coverage of this population. Neither the Commissioner nor potential providers will be obligated to further commitment as a result of any initial expressions of interest. The Commissioner shall not be committed to any course of action as a result of issuing this advert or any invitation to participate or to submit a Bid Response in respect of this Procurement. The Commissioner shall not be bound to accept any Bid and reserves the right not to conclude a Contract for some or all of the Service(s) for which Bids are invited with one or more Bidders. The Commissioner reserves the right to amend, add to or withdraw all or any part of this Procurement at any time during the process
