Tender description

From March 2015, DWP are running a trial to test the impact of a package of intensive support designed to accelerate claimants’ return to work at the start of their JSA claim (Intensive Activity Programme). This contract involves qualitative research with claimants as part of the wider evaluation of the Intensive Activity Programme trial. The work will provide detailed evidence on the nature of support being offered with the IAP programme, perceptions of effectiveness of the programme among claimants and its role in moving claimants closer to the labour market and into work. It will also explore whether and how the programme is influencing key drivers of behaviour such as self-efficacy, attitudes and norms, and as a result moving claimants into work.
