Unscheduled Dental Care Services

Tender description

The aim of the service is to deliver Unscheduled Dental Care Services 7 days a week and 365 days a year (366 days in a leap year). The analysis of data has identified what level of access would be required. It is envisaged that the tender documentation for this service will be issued April 2015. The contracting authority will develop the service model to incorporate the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, specifically: • How what is proposed to be procured might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the relevant area. (area is the geographic area for which the procurement is taking place) • How, in conducting the process of procurement, it might act with a view to securing the improvement. Registering Interest The North of England Commissioning Support Service (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and will run the tender process for and on behalf of NHS England Yorkshire and the Humber (the contracting authority). NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to gather expressions of interest therefore all communications will be conducted via the In-Tend portal, https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necs. It is free to register on the portal, which can be accessed at any time.
