During this time it is envisaged that the long term future of the service will be determined through a competitive procurement. The practice has a current list size of 10400 patients and is provided from a location in Reading, Berkshire, the provider will have the option to continue to provide services from the current premises. It is essential that the current patient list continues to receive a comprehensive service during this time and that the provider must be able to demonstrate an ability to mobilise to service provision within a short time frame. NHS England is looking for a modern, patient-centred model that is user friendly and culturally sensitive that considers all of the national and local public health targets. The model will need to include provision of the following: • Essential Services • All Additional Services • Opening hours and service delivery from 8am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday (except statutory bank and public holidays).
