The objective of this RFT was to invite tenders from suitably qualified service providers to provide a service as technical advisors for the Better Energy Homes scheme particularly on domestic energy efficiency issues, specifically on Building Services Engineering and Architectural aspects of building design and retrofitting of buildings. Value of contract: Estimated total value is €120,408.75 Award criteria and weightings: The contract was awarded from the qualifying tenders on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender using the following award: 1.Quality of submission and demonstrated understanding of requirements (20); 2.Quality, level and detail of demonstrated relevant experience (40); (Tenderers must score a minimum of 25 in this criterion in order to be eligible for contract award.) 3.Cost (40).
