Mansion Cottage, Kenwood House (London). Modification and new retail units at Hardwick Old Hall (Derbyshire) Manufacture and deliver 2 plant stands to Haughmond Abbey (Shropshire)

Tender description

Various Shopfitting requirements at various sites as per tender: Source materials, manufacture and install retail shop at Mansion Cottage, Kenwood House (London); Modification and new retail units at Hardwick Old Hall (Derbyshire); Manufacture and deliver 2 plant stands to Haughmond Abbey (Shropshire). Some design work will be required as part of the Kenwood House and Old Hardwick Hall work. You will also be required to work with some existing plans and make amendments were requested The following scope of work is included: • Work with English Heritage Contract Manager for the projects to ensure project s delivered on time and within budget. • Visit Site to take final measurements before manufacture • Strip out and disposal of old existing retail units including providing any skips needed • Source raw materials as specified for 3 Separate projects as outlined above • Provide samples of raw materials to be used to manufacture membership, plant stands and shop fixtures • Additional design work required for Hardwick Old Hall including a corner unit, modifications to DDA area of counter • Some design work required for book shelving at Mansion Cottage • Manufacture of all counter and units in retail shop this includes the fitting of any in built directional lighting (LSD light bulbs to be used) and any electrical spurs required to connect to power at Site • Manufacture all plant stands for Haughmond Abbey • Manufacture off Site and deliver to Sites. Note there may be restriction on size of vehicles that are able to access to Site. As part of the price all pricing must include delivery to Site and vehicle restrictions accounted for. • Provide technical drawings for English Heritage MNE teams as required include counter layouts • Provide any other drawings as requested by English Heritage contract manager • Install all shop units and counters to plans as specified • Install all plant stands in plant area as specified at Haughmond Abbey • Complete any snagging in shops at Mansion Cottage and Hardwick Old Hall to English Heritage contract managers sign off and time specified • Plant Stands to be signed off on delivery by member of EH Staff It will not include • Any alternations to buildings on Site • No electrical work on Site - connection of units and counter to site power will be completed by approved English Heritage contractors • No decoration work **nb. please see 'Clarifications' for Terms and conditons document**
