Supply and Technical Support of Gigabit Ethernet Equipment

Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement to engage the services of a suitably qualified/accredited HP partner to provide hardware and software support to its existing HP/3Com Gigabit Ethernet Network. The Gigabit Ethernet Network is the primary communications medium for Station Services, Customer Information Systems and ATVM at all refurbished and unmanned stations nationwide. Additionally, IÉ are looking to engage with suitably qualified/accredited suppliers of networking equipment which will be used to expand and interface with the existing HP/3Com network. It will be the responsibility of all participants at the pre-qualification stage to demonstrate that they have the capabilities to enable any chosen hardware solution to seamlessly interface with the current HP/3Com installations.
