Provision of LAN Speed WAN Connectivity to Government Networks

Tender description

This document and accompanying appendices constitute a request for tender for provision of the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of LAN speed WAN connectivity between the Office at 18, Lower Leeson St., Dublin 2 and Government Networks. (For the purposes of this document “the Office” constitutes the Offices of the Ombudsman, Information Commissioner, Commissioner for Environmental Information, the Standards in Public Office Commission Secretariat, the Referendum Commission and the Commission for Public Service Appointments.) The Office currently has a secondary 100MB Fibre Metro connection which services redundant/failover connectivity to Government Networks. The Office is seeking to obtain the most advantageous and efficient provision of connectivity to Government Networks in order to ensure seamless availability of services and information to all stakeholders and customers.
