Framework Agreement with Kilkenny County Council for the supply of Library Books to Kilkenny Library Service in 3 No. Lots - Contract Award/Appointment to Framework

Tender description

The competition is to establish a Framework Agreement with Kilkenny County Council for the supply of Library Books to Kilkenny Library Service. There are 3 categories or Lots that tenderers may bid for namely: Lot 1: Children's Material Lot 2: Adult Non Fiction Lot 3: Adult Fiction The initial term of the framework will be a period of 1 year. Kilkenny County Council reserve the right to extend the term of the framework on an annual basis for a further 3 years. Continued operation of the framework is subject to the provision of adequate funds to Kilkenny County Council on an ongoing basis and is also subject to Local Government policy for the Library Service area. Contract Award/Appointment to Framework - The names of the 3 successful framework participants appointed on the 10th February 2014 for all 3 no. Lots are The Book Nest Library Supply (Ranked 1st for all lots), The Open Book Company Library Services Ltd. (Ranked 2nd for all lots), and Irish Library Suppliers Ltd.(Ranked 3rd for all lots). The Framework will commence from the 1st March 2014.
