Tender description

This contract requires a competent training provider to deliver certified Basic and Advanced Boat Operations Training with Commercial Endorsement training for approximately 150 employees over the next 2 years. This will enable employees operating RIB patrols and inland boat operations to operate on inland waters and up to 20 miles out to sea during day and night hours. The training must be delivered by competent instructors and successful attendees will be certified by the provider meeting the quality and standards required by the Marine Survey Office (MSO). Awards will be provided to those participants who meet the standards successfully following a series of examinations and tests both practical and written. Training modules required for Basic Boat Operations: 1. Powerboat Operations (Levels 1 & 2) 2. RIB Capsize & Personal Rescue 3. VHF/GMDSS SRC Certificate 4. Personal Survival Techniques (PST) STCW95 5. IFI Commercial Rules and Regulations Training modules required for Advanced Boat Operations: 1. Navigation Theory 2. Advanced Powerboat Course 3. Boat & Passage Planning + Night Passage
