Expressions or interest are sought from suitably experienced civil engineering contractors who can demonstrate experience relevant to the required works and who can mobilise sufficient plant and labour resources. Tipperary County Council intend to develop and enhance the amenity value of the site by undertaking a programme of works that will result in the provision of a new Town Park. This will include a number of different amenity zones which will incorporate a network of paths , including a riverside walk and cycleway, amenity grassland areas, an activity area incorporating a children’s play area, a skateboard park, a multi use games court and a seating area. The Town Park will be connected to the surrounding town centre by means of a new footbridge over the Suir Candidates shall be capable of undertaking the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage under the Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations 2013. Candidates shall demonstrate successful completion of 4 separate reference projects within 5 years on the publication date of this notice.
