Display Wall Systems For EirGrid Control Centre (NCC) and SONI Control Centre (CHCC)

Tender description

In its role as Transmission System Operator, EirGrid operates two mission-critical control centres known as NCC (Dublin) and CHCC (Belfast). Operators in the control centres require highly reliable equipment and services to safely and effectively manage the Irish electricity system. This equipment includes display wall systems and associated software, supporting structures, racks and cabling. This contract covers the replacement of the existing solutions to the technical specifications outlined in the scope of work (attached). Tenderers may propose more than one solution, however, for each separate solution Tenderers must submit all cost and technical details, in accordance with the award criteria, for that specific solution. EirGrid wishes to implement display solutions that will embrace the latest developments in display technology and provide a future-proofed solution with the following characteristics: • Adherence to the display area constraints of 5m x 1.5m at NCC and 4m x 2.1m at CHCC • Capability to operate in a 24x7x365 environment with minimal noise intrusion • Lifecycle of 5+ years • Minimal frame/bezel intrusion • Ability to facilitate multiple inputs, including Windows based application content across the entire display area and camera feeds • Higher resolution than existing solutions • Low operating costs Interested parties should refer to the Tender Documents attached to this etenders notice for full details.
