Tender description
Delivery & Development of a Training Programme for Staff in dealing with matters of Domestic & Sexual abuse within the Prison Population The primary objectives of the proposed programme will be to increase the participants’ understanding of the dynamics and impact of child sexual abuse and of the impact of rape and sexual assault, and to enhance their capacity to support the prisoner in custody with this issue. The training workshop should facilitate IPS staff to reflect on their understanding of the impact on themselves of this work and their capacity to maintain their own wellbeing. This programme will have a direct impact on positive working relationships as the focus will be on interactions between staff and prisoners.
