Tender description

The motors and handpieces must be compatable with the Planmeca Compact iTouch v2. This should be achieved through plug and play technologies. The Planmeca Compact iTouch v2 has as standard a MX 2 electronic cable to fit directly on the proposed motor. All connections/adaptors required for the use of the proposed motor on the Planmeca Compact iTouch v2 must be included in the proposal, and costed appropriately. Additionally motors and handpieces must comply with the relevant EN and ISO specification including: • 93/42/EEC EN1639:2009 Medical Device Annex I Dentistry Instruments • Relevant CE Marking regulations • ISO 3964 1982 Dental handpieces - Coupling dimensions • ISO 13294 1997 Dental handpieces dental air motors • ISO 11498 1997 Dental motors • ISO 14457 2012 Dentistry - Handpieces and motors The proposal must include comprehensive maintenance and repair training for six technicians.
