Clare County Council invites tenders to carry out Asbestos Surveys on Council Properties for the period 2014-2016

Tender description

Clare County Council wishes to appoint an Asbestos Surveyor for a 2 year term to conduct Management Asbestos surveys (MAS) and Refurbishment/Demolition Asbestos surveys (RDAS) of properties in the ownership of Clare County Council, inclusive of Libraries, Fire Stations, Housing stock, Area Offices and Pump houses including Treatment Plants. The service provider will be asked to submit rates for different property types, but not for different house types. The rates are to include all preliminaries, overhead costs, sample testing, reports etc. Clare County Council accepts that not all buildings will fit into the listed categories and a price will be negotiated for exceptions to the listed categories, if and when the need arises. The service provider must be able to demonstrate a track record and commitment to implementing continuous improvement in the delivery of services. This contract was awarded to HBE Risk Management, 56 Cathedral Court, Ennis, Co. Clare.
