PQQ-Limerick Southern Green Route - Ballinacurra Creek to Punches Cross Quality Bus Corridor (R526)

Tender description

The works comprise of the construction of an inbound bus lane onthe Ballinacurra Road (R526) from its junction with the SouthCircular Road (441), to its junction with Childers Road (R509).The scheme will also include the re-assignment of road space,provision of new parking measures, upgrading of traffic signals,improved pedestrian and cyclist facilities and improved busfacilities "(Part A)".In addition, these works will include new landscaping measures,improved and new road markings, private dwelling accommodationworks, new and additional road signage and new under groundutility measures.Existing underground and overhead utility will be relocated as partof these works.In addition "Part B" of the works, include the construction ofapproximately 400 metres of new road and ancillary works alongthe Baggot Estate as detailed on the approved Part VIII schemedrawings.This will include full road construction for 400m, new publiclighting, new CCTV and new parkland fencing with environmentalmeasures along the rear of the houses in the Baggot Estate.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the eTenders Web Site at http://www.etenders.gov.ie/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=418372.
