NUIG/CON291n/14 - Isothermal Titration Calorimeter

Tender description

Dr. Peter Crowley, School of Chemistry, NUI Galway, has received funding from Science Foundation Ireland for research infrastructure. Funds are available for the purchase of an Isothermal Titration Calorimeter to facilitate a Structural Biology project. The Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) is required to characterize protein-ligand binding thermodynamics. The ITC will be used to generate thermodynamic data for multiple protein-ligand complexes as part of a project focused on protein surface recognition by small molecules. Ex-demo equipment is acceptable provided that it works as new and comes with a 1 year guarantee.
