Tender description
Information Solutions and Services (ISS) currently provide both DHCP and DNS service to the University. DHCP All client desktops on the University network are currently configured using a central DHCP service. This includes approx. 2,500 staff desktop devices, 1,600 student PC suites and over 20,000 wireless devices. In most cases, these devices are also automatically given a DNS name. These figures, especially the wireless one, is expected to increase substantially over the coming years. DNS ISS also provide a DNS service as follows: Internal and external view DNS. The internal view consists of approximately 30 domains and/or subdomains. The external view consists of approximately 100 domains and/or subdomains.
