Tender description
The LGMA has developed the eReturns software to facilitate the compilation, recording and transmission of data returns from local government bodies. Appendix 1 provides an overview of the software and its functions and design. The aim of this tender is to: • Procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced software development team to redesign and upgrade the objects in the eReturns software to use the most up-to-date .NET framework and ultimately to address some design challenges that have arisen over time as the system responded to evolving demands keeping in mind that existing data remains available; and • Ensure that the LGMA is in a position to efficiently support and maintain, and to further develop as necessary, the eReturns software once the contract is consumed.
