Non-fluidics based high-throughput Chemiluminesce Bioanalyser

Tender description

The Glycoscience Group at NUI Galway is focussed on high-throughput strategies for identifying the biological activity of naturally derived glyco-polymers, in particular those derived from marine sources in a range of medical and materials based scenarios. The group is funded through a diverse range of streams, including exchequer, non-exchequer, private and core funds. Our current infrastructure currently consists of microarray fabrication facilities to examine structural characteristics of identified glyco-polymers, broad-wavelength ELISA reading facilities and a fluidics-based, fluorescent labelled multiplex system (Luminex). To complement our current array of high-throughput analytic systems we are looking to purchase a high-throughput (96-well plate based) non-fluidic based multiplex protein bioanalyser able to measure multiple biomarkers simultaneously within a single sample dilution at both high and low concentrations. The assay system must employ non-fluorescent based methodologies of detection.
