Tender description

Dr. Peter Crowley, School of Chemistry, NUI Galway, has received funding from Science Foundation Ireland for research infrastructure. Funds are available for the purchase of a protein crystallization robot to facilitate a Structural Biology project. Crystallization robot to screen for protein crystallization conditions. The robot will be used to generate crystals of multiple protein-ligand complexes for a structural biology project focused on small molecule mediated protein assembly. The system must include software that enables set up and control of the robot Second user or demonstration models, of verifiable age, are acceptable. Such equipment must be fit for purpose and must come with a current maintenance record indicating the date of last full service, which must be within the previous two months.
