Provision of Audit Services of Sea Food Official Controls to the SFPA

1.2 (a) Project Mission Statement To provide an independent appraisal of and measure and evaluate the processes and procedures in place with particular emphasis with compliance with both EU and National legislation. 1.2 (b) Project Objective To carry out a series of internal audits of SFPA’s Official Control System in accordance with the aforementioned legislation and supporting guidelines. 1.2 (c) Project Scope The Authority intends to establish an agreement with one service provider for the provision of Internal Audit Services to develop a five year Audit Road Map of its Sea Food Official Controls and complete four Audits over a two year contract period. Both the Road Map and the completed Audits will serve as a guide to the Authority to develop its own in-house audit capability to complete its own audits and to report on their findings.
