Tender description

The strategic aim is to make increased use of external managed print services contracts through engagement with the Managed Print Services (MPS) framework. In dealing with multiple possible vendors as a result of business awarded through this process, the potential would exist for the HSE having to host multiple, localised and disparate instances of Secure Print platforms. It is a preferable option therefore for the HSE to implement a single national Secure Print Solution which will be capable of managing selected existing devices on the HSE network and which will be technically compatible with any device which the MPS Framework, or any other contract for the supply of print devices, subsequently delivers. Primary objectives in providing a single instance secure print solution are • To enable secure pull-printing, scanning and copying • To deploy national print policies centrally • To provide centralised global reporting on print usage and cost to the organisation
