Provision of Legal Prosecution Services

Tender description

The Authority wishes to invite tenders under an open procedure with the objective of engaging a service provider to provide Legal Prosecution Services to: 1. Prosecute offences on behalf of the Authority in relation to breaches of the regulatory framework governing the small public vehicle industry (taxis, hackneys and limousines); 2. Prosecute offences on behalf of the Authority in relation to breaches of the licensing framework governing commercial bus passenger services; 3. Represent and defend the Authority in judicial proceedings initiated against the Authority in the area of small public service vehicle licensing and commercial bus passenger services and other areas of the Authority's functions as directed by the Authority; 4. Provide general legal assistance in the area of small public service vehicle licensing; and 5. Carry out such other duties in relation to legal services as may be assigned from time to time by the Authority during the period of the contract.
