Long Term Supply Agreement for Rubber 'Anti Trespass' Cattle Grids for use at Level Crossings

**THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION** This is an Award Notice to confirm that Agri & Industrial Rubber Ltd (t/a Easyfix Rubber Products) Persse Business Park, Ballinasloe, Co Galway has been awarded a 3 year Long Term Supply Agreement for the Supply of Anti Trespass Rubber Cattle Grids (RFT 80677) Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites you to express an interest in a tender process for the long term supply of rubber 'Anti- Trespass' / Cattle Grids. IÉ currently install timber cattle grids at level crossings around the country to prevent livestock from entering onto the permanent way. IÉ have been investigating the possibility of installing a more robust and hard wearing product for a number of years now and have developed a bespoke design which is proposed to be installed at single and double track level crossings around the country. To fulfill the requirements of the contract, IÉ are looking to engage with either (a) a company experienced in the manufacture of bespoke rubber products; or (b) a company experienced in the supply of rubber 'anti- tresspass' mats to the rail industry similar to the proposed bespoke design. The scope of the contract will entail the successful supplier providing the product in batches sufficient to upgrade 25 level crossings per-annum for a 3 year contract. IÉ will also reserve the right to extend the contract by an additional year. The contract will last a maximum of 4 years.
