*****The contract for internal audit services has been awarded to Deloittes***** Bord Iascaigh Mhara(BIM) is the state agency tasked with development of the Irish seafood sector. BIM are committed to providing commercially relevant and innovative services to the Irish seafood industry that drive growth opportunities, leading to a thriving Irish seafood industry. This will include specific focus on adding value, enhancing competitiveness, developing efficient supply chains and creating jobs in a sustainable, natural resource based industry for the benefit of coastal communities. In so doing, BIM will deliver on the Government’s Food Harvest 2020 targets for seafood and the creation of sustainable jobs. As part of its controls, compliance and value-added services within BIM, Corporate Services is seeking submissions from suitable tenderers for the provision of an outsourced Internal Audit function. This service which will commence from the 1st April 2014 and will run for three years. A detailed specification of requirements is set out in Section 2 of the RFT.
