Tender description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine requires the services of a Consultant with expertise in civil and marine engineering to prepare a preliminary report, detailed design, tender documentation, Works and handover Stage for New Slipway at Rossaveel Fishery Harbour Centre (FHC).The Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) now wishes to explore the development options for the provision of a boat yard and slipway at Rossaveel FHC. The purpose of this development is to provide a facility whereby the fishing fleet and other harbour users can dry dock their vessels for out of water surveys, essential repairs, general maintenance and painting etc. The facility must be capable of accommodating vessels of up to 600 tonne and 6m draught.
