Tender description

The City Council wishes to employ a suitably skilled and experienced consultant to conduct a door knocking exercise in City West Homes estates, Peabody Estates and mansion blocks. •Encourage non participating residents to use the recycling service provided; •Motivate participating residents to recycle collected items more often and limit contamination; •Provide communications materials to all identified properties; •Address any issues residents may have with the recycling service including taking container requests; •Provide a critical evaluation of recycling services to inform service development; •Encourage engagement in addition to the door knocking exercise by promoting the WCC’s recycling e-newsletter •To support recycling container delivery crew by providing timely data to designated contractor. The key aims of the exercise will be to encourage a significant increase in recycling tonnage and a reduction in contamination. The focus will be on purpose built flats managed by City West Homes, Peabody Estates and private owners.
