Tender description

The contract was awarded to Crawford Group Ireland. Upgrade of the existing playground facilities at Cappagh, Kilrush, Co.Clare, Design & Build. The existing playground equipment and surfacing must be removed by the successful contractor. Any equipment/surfacing that is deemed suitable for reuse will be at the discretion of the specialist contractor. The playground should be designed, supplied and installed by the contractor. The playground should de designed to cater for children of all ages. The playground should de designed with a maritime theme. The equipment should be of a robust nature suitable to a maritime environment. The objective of the playground layout should be to obtain the maximum possible play value within the defined area, having regard to the budget indicated. The successful company will be contracted to design, supply, deliver, install, commission & maintain the system. A “turnkey” solution is required which will encompass all elements required in bringing the service into operation within budget and in an efficient and timely manner.
