Tender description

A mental health wellbeing centre 'the hub' which provides a recovery focused and socially inclusive day opportunities for customers with mental health problems. It will operate from a single location in the borough and make use of community venues. It will provie an initial 6-8 week period of support regardless of eligibility for adult social care services and will in addition provide offers for those who are eligible. The service will also provide information, give guidance and signpost people to free services in the borough. It is anticipated that the model will be delivered through a contract for an initial period of 4 years with the option for 2 extensions of 1 year each. The estimated annual value of the contract is £130,000 for the element providing an initial 6-8 week period of targeted preventive support. The Council will offering some transitional funding for the first year where there will be % of the personal budget funds which will be phased in, to be be agreed in discussion with the successful provider.
