Supply and Installation of Diesel Generator for SCC Data Centre

Tender description

Southampton City Council invites applications from suitably experienced contractors who wish to tender for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an emergency diesel generator to provide back-up to Southampton City Council's Data Centre. Main elements of the works will comprise: i) Removal of 15000 litres fuel tank(empty apart from residual diesel) ii) Building works to enlarge existing door opening and create new door opening to redundant diesel fuel, Supply and installation of new doors and internal works to create a functioning generator enclosure iii) Install lighting, emergency lighting, and fire alarm devices within redundant diesel fuel store. iv) Supply and install 275kVA diesel generator set complete with skid mounted fuel tank of capacity to provide 24 hours continuous operation at full load. v) Supply and install connecting cables and changeover panel with Data Centre Plant Room.
