Provision of Accountancy Support Services to the SFPA

Tender description

This Request for Tender (RFT) issued by the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority invites suitably qualified Accountancy firms: • To undertake accountancy support services for the Authority over the period 2014 to 2016. The contract will be for one year with a possible extension of one year as required. • Assistance with the preparation of year end financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and public service requirements. • Assistance in complying with the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies. • To prepare ad-hoc reports outlining the results, conclusions and recommendations for review by the Finance Manager as required from time to time. • To be available to report and attend meetings where called upon to do so. • To make available all relevant material and information to our external auditor in accordance with the provisions of auditing standards. • Advice as to the implications of relevant Revenue legislation and in particular legislation pertaining to the Public Service. • Provide support on site for specific tasking as required by the Authority. • To undertake any other work as may be assigned by the Finance Manager.
