Online course application system for targeted skills initiatives in higher education

Tender description

The HEA wish to invite proposals from suitably-qualified contractors for the development and management of a single online course applications system for current and future targeted skills initiatives in higher education. The combined portal will provide user-friendly, well structured information on all available courses. Users will be able to make a single application for multiple courses, with the process managed through the system up to and including enrolment of successful applicants. The system will also generate comprehensive, real-time data on the profile of applicants and outcomes, including post-enrolment outcomes. The system will operate to the highest standards of user-friendliness, design logic and processing efficiency. Initially, the system will serve Springboard/ICT Skills conversion courses, however it will have the core capacity to act, in time, as the main portal for part-time and flexible higher education in Ireland and any other targeted skills initiatives. The contract was awarded to Vidatum Technologies.
