THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED TO SLIGO FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE. 1.Organise an opening and closing event. 2.To support the key agencies involved in the Interagency Working Group through further training and consolidate the work undertaken in 2013 to establish the Racist Incident Reporting and Support Service. 3.To provide training to the Sligo Intercultural Forum in capacity building, organisational skills, taking incident reports, support and advocacy work and to enable them to be representative of minority ethnic and cultural groups. 4.To enhance the service by promoting the project to all the people of Sligo e.g. visiting groups, radio, newspaper, giving talks etc 5.To create opportunities for exchange of learning and for meaningful border/cross-border engagement. 6.To raise awareness of the Service through hosting Intercultural events and taking part in events as appropriate.
