Tender description

The production (copy-editing, cover design, layout, typesetting, indexing and proofing), lithographic printing and delivery of six of monographs in its NRA Scheme Monographs series. (The typical size of one monograph is 200–260 pages, including cover, prelims and end matter.) The production (cover design and proofing) and manufacture of an accompanying CD/DVD containing additional material is also being sought. The design of future titles in the series should generally adhere to the style of the desktop publishing templates provided to the successful Tenderer. Our aim is to produce a high quality and visually appealing monograph series that will be available through bookshops nationwide. The NRA Archaeology Section will supply all text, drawings and photographs for the monographs. We are inviting tender applications for the production (copy- editing, cover design, layout, typesetting, indexing and proofing), lithographic printing and delivery of six monographs in the series. Tenderers should note that this Contract shall be of three years duration. This RFT seeks the costs for producing and printing six monographs in the NRA Archaeology Scheme Monograph series. Over the lifetime of the Contract the successful Tenderer(s) shall be bound by these costs for producing and printing each monograph.
