Business Analysis and Business Architecture Services

Tender description

Since 2009 considerable business and technology analysis has already been carried out by the Agency both on its own and in partnership with external providers. Analysis has been initiated at the strategic, enterprise level and at more detailed business levels. The understanding and appreciation of Business Analysis throughout the Agency is widespread and there is a growing recognition of the need to have a Business Architecture Roadmap. It is expected that the EPA Business Architecture Roadmap will help translate the EPA Strategic Priorities into distinct business requirements while ensuring integrated, efficient and lean business processes throughout the Agency. Typically the role of BA within the Agency has been in the preparation of business requirements for Agile IT Development teams, however as BA has matured within the EPA, BA roles have started to diversify. It is expected that services procured under this framework will help satisfy this diversified approach to Business analysis and business architecture. The Agency now seeks to establish a shortlist of candidate suppliers for inclusion in a Framework Agreement to assist in these roles.
