Tender description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) Adult Social Care Department (ASC) is inviting applications from organisations for the provision of advocacy services to adults who are eligible for social care services commissioned by Wrexham County Borough Council: • People with learning disabilities • People with physical disabilities • People with acquired brain injury • People with sensory impairment • People over the age of 65 NB. People requiring a Mental Health advocate will be signposted to appropriate services commissioned by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The service should be provided in a way that is founded on and appropriate to the service specification that is available in the Tender documentation. The service will operate from a base within Wrexham County Borough, with staff being able to travel within the borough as appropriate. This service will involve working with partner organisations as appropriate to ensure information, advice and support activities are available and effective. The annual contract value is £72,788 and it is envisioned that the whole amount will be used to provide this service. Payment of the contract will be made on an 80:20 basis; 80% of the contract value will be paid quarterly and in advance. The remaining 20% will only be paid if the Council is satisfied that the successful provider is achieving the outcomes of the specification.
