Tender description

This is a Contract Award Notice. This tender was for the purchase of a second-user/demonstration model of a non- contact piezoelectric dispenser with the ability to dispense picolitre volumes of sample onto a variety of surfaces including glass slides and other membranes, for the National Centre for Biomedical Engineering Science of NUI Galway. A total budget of €81,450 was made available for this purchase through the SFI strategic opportunity fund for research infrastructure. In August 2013, this tender was awarded to Scienion AG, Volmerstrasse 7b, D-12489 Berlin, Germany.
