Tender description

Dublin City Council has three EMC Clarions CX4-960 arrays. These arrays provide the storage capacity for all DCC SAN attached servers, including Mircosoft Windows, Oracle Solaris & VMWare ESX servers. The Clariion devices also provide the back-end Storage for the EMC Celerra NAS solution, which supports DCCs CIFS file shares. Based on the capacity requirements and the space restrictions within the data centres, DCC wish to expand each of the Clariion CX4-960 arrays with 2 trays of Fibre channel disk and 1 tray of SATA. This contract has been awarded to Fujitsu. 4 valid tenders were received.
