Tender description
This Request for Tender (RFT) issued by the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority invites suitably qualified third level institutions to provide a graduate programme specifically tailored to the needs of the Authority. The programme should be designed to provide a graduate on an annual basis to the SFPA based in Clonakilty, Co Cork. The Graduate should be able: - To work within the SFPA on a daily basis completing tasks allocated in a professional manner. To complete a project/assignment on a topic (to be agreed) which contributes directly to the work of the SFPA. For 2013, the specific requirement is for Commerce/Business Graduates. However, this may change in later years to include science/food science graduates or gradulates from other disciplines, if the needs of the business dictates. It is expected that the tendering institution would be able to provide graduates from a broad range of disciplines. The duration of the Programme will not exceed three (3) years. See Appendix 2. Owing to operational exigencies, this Graduate role will be based centrally at the Authorities Headquarters in Clonakilty, Co Cork for 2013 and 2014. Tenderers are also required to commit to delivering the following additional requirements: A profile and credentials of tendering Institution. The proposed delivery method of the programme Feedback / feedback reports to the Authority as required A copy of a similar programme already delivered by the Tenderer (please also see Section 2.3 below) Commitment to commence programme by September/October 2013 Further information can be obtained from Theresa Connolly at theresa.connolly@sfpa.ie
