Supplementary Services to support delivery of the existing project Practical Implementation of Freshwater Pearl Mussel Measures

Tender description

Donegal County Council, the Client, seeks to appoint a firm of suitably qualified Consultants to undertake a range of supplementary services to support the delivery of the existing Practical Implementation of Freshwater Pearl Mussel Measures Project which is currently being implemented by Donegal County Council and Northern Ireland Environment Agency in partnership and is grant aided under the European Union's INTERREG IVA Programme. The additional services being procured through this RFT are:- a) a drainage audit of a forested catchment and stream monitoring of nutrients and suspended solids throughout felling and associated activites; b) operation, maintenance, calibration and data collation at 8 established telemetry stations for a period of 3 months; c) critical analysis of inherent properties of extensive project environmental datasets and relationships to catchment landuse; d) consultation with targeted designated sectors to identify industry norms, practices and documentation to support and inform the codes of practice being developed by the existing Practical Implementation of Freshwater Pearl Mussel Measures Project.
