Provision of accreditation support services

Tender description

Forfás - The Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) is the national body in Ireland responsible for accreditation in accordance with the EN 45000 series of European Standards and with the ISO 17000 series of International Standard Organisation (ISO) standards and guides. INAB provides accreditation to certification bodies operating in the fields of product, personnel, quality, environmental and energy management; testing and calibration laboratories; inspection bodies; attestors and attestation bodies for public procurement; information security management systems certification and E-Commerce. INAB is signatory to international agreements which confer international recognition and acceptance to Irish accredited bodies. INAB is now seeking tenders from suitably qualified organisations/individuals for the provision of accreditation support services. It is envisaged that one or more contracts may be awarded.
